‘Marty and Lenny’ is an impressive book written by Tania Woznicki that tells a very gripping story about being kind and caring to other people. It has got some very cute characters and a very strong message. The story revolves around Marty and Lenny who go to the same school, but both of them are very different. Marty is a monkey who is very kind, polite and very helpful. Lenny is a lion who is totally opposite to Marty. Lenny is selfish, mean and sometimes very rude to others.

One day Marty sees Lenny with very bad table manners and it really upsets him. That night, Marty was unable to sleep as he was very worried about Lenny. Next day, Marty took a decision to be a friend of Lenny and help him to become a good person. Both of them went to a journey together and the book then shows their adventures through some eye-catchy pictures and funny words. The friendship between Marty and Lenny teaches the children about the importance of the friendship and how a good friend can change your life in a good way. The story is very honest and is very easy to understand. The illustrations included in this book are colorful and make the book more pleasant.
